That's My Boy :: 001

So my older son has started playing hide & seek. Something he loves now and wants to do all the time! When he plays, Chris will run - as if he's going to hide - but then when you finish counting, he runs at you with the look he has in the pic and gets all excited thinking he won, haha.

Now when Joey counts, I try to get Chris to hide with me. But he won't. Instead, he stands by his brother with his little hands on his cheeks and goes, "ya... ya... ya..." trying to count with him.Yep... that's my boy, haha. It's cute he tries so hard to be like his brother.

Park Fun // That's My Son :: 002

So the boys got bored being in the house, so we went to the park around 4 PM. No other kids were there, so it was nice I didn't have to worry about a bigger kid bumping into mine, haha. They had a lot of fun... for the 20 minutes with stayed there. Next thing I know, my boys are heading for the car. Joey then says to me, "it too hot... I want cold drink." I was glad to be leaving since it's so hot and also laughing over him. That's my son!

Joey is always doing something to make me laugh. I need to start writing them done so I won't forget, and then get them posted on here. He loves to make us laugh. And he has Chris following right in his footsteps doing the same.

I did that :: 002

Hubby and I went on a date not too long ago. After eating, we headed to the mall to see a movie (our theater is in the mall). While I got the tickets, hubby went to the restroom. After I got done, I wanted to use the restroom. So since hubby was done and out, I ask him, "hold my purse?" He takes it without saying a word until he goes to the waiting area by the restrooms and there's a guy standing there. He gets an embarrassed smile, so I say, "don't worry, it matches you nicely!" He must have turned 10 shades of red, and the guy tried to hold back from laughing, but couldn't. I couldn't help myself, haha. I know I made it worse for him holding it, but I just had to! I'm mean, I know.

Yeah... I did that, haha.

That's My Son :: 001

So Tuesday, Little Man and I made our way to the store. He's a good helper when we go and is always well-behaved. We get what we need and head to baby things. We go to the wipes isle and I say, "we need to get some wipes." I grab the wipes and toss them in the cart. As soon as I did that, he looks at me and yells, "YAY!!" doing the same look he's doing in the picture above. Two women were in the isle with us, and they busted out laughing, saying, "someone must have really needed wipes!" I couldn't help but laugh, as well.

That's my son... haha!

That's My Husband :: 001

So I decided to start something called, "That's My Husband".
Basically, posting the crazy and stupid funny things he says and does.

So Little Man got in our bed this morning and had a little accident. I start pulling off the sheets to wash them and in comes my husband...

Hubby: Who peed in the bed?
Me: *gives him a stare, like 'are you serious?'*
Hubby: Who peed in the bed?
Me: I did.
Hubby: You did? Why?
Me: Because I needed to pee and didn't want to get up.
Hubby: Really?
Me: *sighs* Here's your sign...
(If anyone is familiar with Bill Engvall, you'll understand the last part)

There's only 1 person in the house who has an accident once in awhile, and it's not me. If he was just pulling my leg, I think it's safe to say I 'got him back', haha.

Yeah... that's my husband...

Our little friend...

So we have these 2 lizards who come by everyday to "say hello". Ever since we moved in - almost 3 years ago - they've done this. At first, it was a big one. Then last year was a baby. So we call them Frank and Frank Jr.

As you can see, Frank Jr came to visit. But, he crawled inside the screen and was stuck between it and the glass. He was there for awhile. Little Man and I lightly tapped the glass, hoping to lead him back to how he crawled in. Never happened. So all day, we kept checking on him. Finally, before we went to bed, we noticed he got out.

Sometimes, they're around the front door, sometimes the back. But they always make sure we see them at least once each day. No matter what mood I'm in, they always put a smile on my face.

Embarrassing moment (I Did That :: 001) - and cookies!

Ever have one of those moments you want to hide in shame?
I did today.
I had to get milk and a few other things, so I took Little Man with me. We did our shopping, acted goofy, and laughed. We get to check-out, and he says he lets me know he needs to go potty. I looked at him, "Ok, we're almost done here, then we'll go to the bathroom, ok?" He agrees and waits. We finish up, and I rush over to the bathrooms with him so he won't end up peeing in his pants. I park the cart right by the bathroom and go inside. As soon I we walk into, I notice something doesn't feel right. I look up and right there is a grown man standing, using the bathroom. I pull Little Man back and say, "I think we're in the wrong one..." As we're walking out, I look at the sign - which I could have sworn said WOMEN - that says MEN. I say, "Crap! We did go in the wrong one! Oh my gosh!" As I say that, I'm turning my focus back to in front of me, when I suddenly jump because of a huge tall guy standing in front of me, laughing and smiling. Then he says, "And here I thought I was going in the wrong one!" I turned like 10 shades of red, which made him laugh even more! Oh my gosh, I was so embarrassed, I wanted to throw a bag over my head! What a trip.

So to make up a crazy trip to the store, Little Man and I made cookies! No, not homemade. That's one homemade I can not do. I can never made good homemade cookies. Or make the ones where you add the ingredients to it. Only kind I can make decent cookies out of, are the ones already premade - just cut and back. I wish I could make homemade cookies. But I just can't. So anyways... here's pictures of the cookies and Little Man enjoying them.

And to make things even, here's Baby Boy!
