What girl doesn't like to paint her nails now and then? So many nail polishes out there, so many colors, and some are better than others. At Julep, you can request to get monthly boxes of goodies for as low as $20/month. Honestly, I can't afford that right now. But a friend gave me a promo code to get the first box for 1 cent. Yeah, I could afford that! So I did it, and got my first - and only box, until I have money - recently and was very excited. Of course, I had to get the one with the purple, because purple is my favorite. Here's the colors I got from the American Beauty collection - two nail polishes and a lotion:
EVA - julep nail vernis: Juicy raspberry creme. The right balance of sophisticated and whimsy.
My thoughts on this: I love it! It's a dark pink, but bright enough to still look good.
Renee - julep nail vernis: Spring lilac creme. Surprisingly ladylike.
My thoughts on this:
Julep - The Best Pedi Creme Ever!: Exfoliates with the alpha hydroxy acids, hydrates with shea butter and coconut oil, nourishes with vitamin E.
My thoughts on this: Love it!!!
Pros -
Nail polish goes on smooth. Holds up nicely. Shines beautifully. Lotion is great.
Cons -
Costs more than I'm willing to spend on one single item.
Would I use again?: Yes, definitely.
Would I buy this?: Only if they were having a good sale, or got through the monthly boxes.
Would I recommend?: Yes.

I'm not sure. The one I was given was COLOR2012 (do the questionnaire to see which style you are, then use the code at the order page). You can try and see. I don't know how to find or get a code. This is my first time dealing with Julep, haha.

I looove Julep. Sometimes they have deals (like 7 polishes for $24. Usually end of season) and that's when I stock up. Love the lilac on you! Stopping by from Favorite Product Friday!
