Ever heard of Diamond Candles? Neither have I... until recently. I was contacted by the company and asked to review one of their candles with a giveaway. Of course, I love candles, so I said yes! But why are they called Diamond Candles? Because in each amazing candle, there is a ring hidden inside - worth $10, $100, $1,000 or $5,000! Each candle is made earth friendly with all natural soy. Now... on to my candle I received! I chose the black raspberry vanilla (it's my favorite scent) and got it very quickly. As soon as I opened the box, I could smell it already. The smell is amazing! Even without lighting it, it had my house smelling good. I had the candle all day, so it didn't take too long to wait so I could get the ring out. I was so anxious to see it! You can go online to their links (listed below) to see some rings others have gotten out of their candles. And, just so you know, all rings are placed in a little bag and then wrapped in foil to protect it.
I love the ring I got! It's so pretty and reminds me of my mom. It looks like something she'd wear. But it was definitely well protected. They come in one size, so it only fits on my pinky right now. I'll probably go get it sized eventually. But needless to say, I'm very happy with my ring! Not only is it exciting getting the candle, but also the surprise of what ring you get? I'd say that's a win-win right there!
Now... price wise, it's more than I'd be willing to spend on a candle. But it is worth it. The candle is great quality, smells wonderful (half way through and it still smells great!), and you get a beautiful ring inside. It'd make a great gift to someone. Would I buy from them in the future? Possibly, for a special occasion (actually, I bet my grandma would love one). Would I recommend them? Yes, definitely!
