DIY :: wreath

Something simple, yet good fun for the kids! And it looks great, too! I would have loved using different colored leaves for the fall season, but here in Houston, we don't get colored leaves. It's a shame.

What you need:
construction paper
crayons - or markers
glue
scissors
stickers/glitter/etc - anything to decorate, let your kids be creative
leaves (optional)

Directions:
1. Cut out the circle with the construction paper.
2. Draw, color, decorate the circle.
3. Add a border, like the leaves.
4. Hang and enjoy!

As you can see by the photos, my son didn't really go in that order, haha.

I think once it's considered "winter", we'll make one and cut out snowflakes to glue to it. You could always use buttons or stamps. If you try something, share it with me! I'd love to see what your little one comes up with.
